On March 25th a well-known Malaysian palm oil producer’s oil palm fiber pallet production line was officially put into operation, a measure that solves the customer’s long-standing problem of underutilized palm fiber, while providing a low-cost alternative to traditional wooden pallets. To celebrate this milestone, the company invited a lion dance team to perform, demonstrating its confidence in the palm pallet market.
The enterprise produces more than 300 tons of palm fiber per day through the shredding and de-oiling of palm fiber, a by-product of oil extraction from palm fruits. In the past, only a small amount of palm fiber was sold to mattress makers or boiler factories, while most of it was not effectively utilized. Now, by introducing an automatic oil palm fiber pallet production line, the customer has successfully recycled palm oil waste into palm pallets, which not only solves the biomass waste problem, but also brings high economic value.
For many years, the use of palm fiber was limited to a few traditional areas, while a large number of palm leaf fiber, palm fruit and other biomass resources were abandoned.
Our company designed a set of wood pallet machine production system specifically for palm fiber recycling, the process includes:
1. Raw material pre-treatment: the crushed palm fiber is dried and mixed with environmentally friendly adhesive.
2. Molding: The automatic pallet machine presses the fibers into high-strength pallets through hot pressing technology.
* Environmental Advantage: Reduce landfill pressure and carbon emissions by recycling palm oil waste.
* Cost-effective: locally sourced palm fiber reduces the cost of pallets by 30% compared to traditional pallets.
* Flexibility in customization: The pallet making machine supports a wide range of sizes and designs to meet individual customer needs.
* Ease of export: Heat treatment process ensures that the pallets are insect and bacteria free, fumigation free and easy to export.
The successful operation of this automated oil palm fiber pallet production line has set a benchmark for global palm fiber usage and will vigorously promote the market penetration of palm oil waste recycling technology, which will make innovative breakthroughs in palm reuse in Malaysia and globally.
