The ThoYu press wood pallet is formed by the ThoYu compressed pallet machine through a process of high temperature and high pressure. It can withstand a static load of 6 tons and a dynamic load of 1.5 tons. The reinforced ribs are designed to prevent moisture and resist impact, ensuring a long service life.

Changing agents risks shipment delays

Just before the production line equipment was about to be shipped, the client temporarily changed the freight forwarder to avoid the risk of rising shipping costs at the end of the year.

However, due to the long time spent on communication and coordination, they were at risk of missing the originally scheduled shipping date. If the delay occurs, it will result in an additional cost of up to 45,000 US dollars.

Meanwhile, the containers provided by the new freight forwarder lack special wooden floors. (Heavy equipment cannot be securely fixed during maritime transportation, and the jolting can easily cause damage to the goods. )

If the shipping schedule is delayed, the arrival time of the goods at the port will be postponed by at least half a month, which will subsequently result in high demurrage fees.

Furthermore, approaching the Chinese Spring Festival, the maritime shipping industry was about to enter its traditional “recovery period”. The number of shipping routes would decrease, and the shipping capacity would become tight, resulting in a significant increase in the uncertainty and risks of subsequent shipments.

ThoYu’s delivery and logistics team responded promptly

The logistics manager of ThoYu promptly coordinated with the freight forwarder to obtain wooden boards that met the fumigation standards, ensuring the stability of the equipment during the maritime transportation process.

The workers ingeniously used the wooden boards to firmly fix the equipment, preventing displacement and collision. And the loading work for 6 containers was completed within one day.

The logistics manager coordinated and arranged the departure of 6 trucks day and night. Tuoyu Company voluntarily covered the additional urgent expenses of over 10,000 yuan. From the factory to customs declaration at the port and loading onto the ship, the entire process was followed up without any delays.
