As environmental awareness grows, the recycling and utilization of waste wood resources has become a breakthrough for many businesses. A packaging and equipment manufacturing company in Thailand, facing abundant waste wood materials, decided to venture into producing Wood Chip Compressed Pallets.

As a newcomer to this field, the client had no prior experience in producing such pallets. In winter 2023, they discovered ThoYu through Google Ads, expressing their need to transform large volumes of waste wood into Wood Chip Compressed Pallets.

ThoYu’s new production equipment is highly efficient, energy-saving, and strictly adheres to the latest environmental standards, earning the client’s confidence.During in-depth discussions, the client showed strong interest in equipment details—particularly fuel type, consumption rates, safety features, and environmental compliance.In early December, the client visited ThoYu’s factory for an on-site inspection. They were impressed by the smooth operation of the automated Wood Chip Compressed Pallet production line. ThoYu engineers optimized the production layout and adjusted equipment configurations based on the client’s factory blueprint.

Additionally, ThoYu offers over 10 mature Wood Chip Compressed Pallet designs, ensuring the client’s output meets market demands.After multiple rounds of communication and plan adjustments, the client placed an order in June 2024, purchasing:

• 2 high-rise Single Mould Wood Pallet Machines;
• 1 Drum type wood chipper machine,
• 1 grinder,
• 1 mixing system,
• 2 mold temperature controllers,
• a complete set of accessories,
• customizing 2 sets of molds.

Raw Material Challenges:

The client’s waste wood mix was exceptionally hard, uneven in density, and had high moisture content due to prolonged storage.

First test runs produced pallets with inconsistent thickness and excessive overall dimensions.ThoYu engineers quickly implemented frequency converters and servo drives to precisely control material spreading and leveling, resolving thickness and weight issues.

Inconsistent raw material density led to irregular pallet quality during mass production. ThoYu’s engineering team relocated to the client’s site for intensive research and testing.

 In July this year , new custom molds were shipped to Thailand.Engineers arrived on August 5 for on-site installation and debugging.
