Recently, ThoYu welcomed a group of Indonesian clients to our manufacturing plant for an in-depth evaluation of our waste plastic pallet production technology.
During the visit, the clients focused on the operating performance of the waste plastic pallet making machine, raw material adaptability, pallet quality, and the economic value of recycled plastic pallet production.
Accompanied by ThoYu’s sales and engineering teams, the clients toured the equipment workshop, mold processing area, and finished pallet sample display section. Through on-site inspections and live machine demonstrations, the clients gained a deeper understanding of how waste plastics can be transformed into high-strength molded pallets through an efficient one-step molding process.
Stable Production Performance for Waste Plastic Pallet Making Machine
During the factory inspection, the clients observed the operation of ThoYu’s 1,250-ton waste plastic pallet making machine. The equipment operates with a total power consumption of 75 kW and can stably produce up to 20 plastic pallets per hour.
Compared with traditional plastic pallet manufacturing methods, the ThoYu molding process offers several advantages:

The Indonesian clients paid special attention to pallet product strength and equipment stability. After reviewing the molded pallet samples and observing the hydraulic pressing system in operation, they highly recognized the rigidity, automation level, and manufacturing precision of the production line.

Coincidentally, during the same week of the client visit, another customized plastic pallet molding production line for an Indonesian customer successfully completed assembly and testing at the ThoYu factory.
Before shipment, ThoYu engineers conducted final pressing tests using PE film and PET film materials based on the customer’s actual raw material conditions.

Through repeated testing and parameter optimization, the engineering team fine-tuned temperature settings, feeding volume, and pressing pressure to ensure stable pallet molding performance.

This preparation allows the customer to quickly begin production after installation, significantly reducing commissioning time and operational risks.
Turning Waste Plastic into High-Value Products
As global recycling industries continue to expand, more manufacturers are exploring ways to convert low-cost waste plastics into profitable industrial products.
For example, one Indonesian customer uses a combination of four mixed plastic materials with a high percentage of PET film. The purchased PET film costs approximately 15 RMB per kilogram. Each finished pallet weighs about 21 kg, resulting in a raw material cost of roughly 94.5 RMB per pallet.
However, this material cost is already much higher than using actual recycled waste plastics collected locally. If manufacturers directly process low-cost waste plastic materials, the production margin can increase substantially.
This is one of the main reasons why molded plastic pallets have become increasingly attractive in markets with abundant plastic waste resources.
One-Step Molding Technology without Granulation
Traditional injection molding and blow molding processes usually require waste plastics to be cleaned, separated, and pelletized before production. These additional procedures increase equipment investment, energy consumption, and labor costs.
